Training 5/30-6/5

 5/30- Planned rest day.  Drive back to Birmingham

5/31-AM 3x1 lap at Montreat.

No treatment- 3:29 (10:27 pace)

5 sprays- 2:48 (8:24 pace)  MINUS 2:03

Caffeine- 2:38 (7:54 pace) MINUS 30

After a full week off, it is clear that the Inositol is not going to be the answer.  The sweet spot is 5 sprays.  Any more and I will be HORRIBLE.  I do feel better after I pee.  That is a clear sign of detox.  Caffeine and alcohol in moderation may actually HELP because both are diuretics.  

PM- No surprise.  If I can barely do a sub-8 for a 1/3 mile sprint, a real workout will SUCK.  2 miles in 21:06 (10:33 pace).  I can only hope that is the start of sustained improvement.

6/1- Better all around.

AM 3x half lappers.

No treatment- 93 (9:18 pace)

5 sprays- 69 (6:54 pace)

Thym-Adren- 69 (6:54 pace)

Pleased by the improvement but the gap actually GREW.  Not so happy about that.

PM- 2.5 on Lakeshore in 23:58 (9:35 pace).  MINUS 58.  If I had repeated the 2 miler, I surely am more than 60 better than yesterday.  I'll take it.

6/2- 2 miles in 18:06 (9:03 pace).  Rate of improvement has already diminished.  Felt much worse in the afternoon

6/3- COLLAPSE.  Need 10 sprays.  Opened with a 2:02 half lap, not much better on 5 sprays (1:56) and 10 sprays got it down to 1:46

6/4- Parking lot junk intervals.  MUCH better.  Did 2x quarter mile.  Opened in 2:13 then all the way down to 1:35 on 10 sprays (6:20 pace)

Distance=0.5

6/5- Opened in 2:33 for a full lap (7:39 pace) THEN got WORSE on 10 sprays.  It never ends. Suspending the updates again until further notice.
