MTHFR and Detox

I experienced a flip flop flip with regards to the adrenal balance last week.  I went from an adrenal spike to need for stimulants to back to an adrenal spike.  Now, I am back on the stimulants.  What a life!  Good news is that I think I know why the flip flop flip happened.  I need a consistent supply of Methyl Folate for the detox to proceed.  The toxins are not being released in batches as I had originally feared

Yes I do have the dreaded homozygous genetic mutation for MTHFR 677.  I believe that I am hetero on 1298 but I'm not sure.  I know I'm not homo on 1298.  It's either hetero or no mutation.  In any event, I need to take Methyl Folate in a specific form.  I take it with TMG, Intrinsic Factor and B12 but up until now, it was not a critical pill.

By not a critical pill, I mean that I can afford to miss a dose every so often.  I won't start to feel off until I go 4 or 5 days without it.  That's what SHOULD happen with every pill.  Because of that, I am not as disciplined about taking it as I am with the Thym Adren.  Since, it is heavily involved with detox especially Mercury, it has become a critical pill.

On the days that I do take the MF, I am sluggish and stiff.  I feel BETTER on Red Bull and Endodren (adrenal stimulant).  If I go 2-3 days without it, I experience a reversal.  I am overstimulated and require mega Thym Adren.

This is almost certainly a detox reaction.  I am 99 percent sure.  MF must be taken every day, preferably at night.  Otherwise, the detox cannot proceed.  As for the Melatonin, I had no immediate reaction.  In fact, I was marginally faster after taking it.  However, I will try to reduce that dose in hopes that the detox will be more manageable.  I have no choice other than to take Endodren temporarily but I will try to limit the caffeine.  Fast oxidation helps speed up the detox process.

Eventually, the toxins will clear and I will be left with badly unbalanced adrenals.  At least I should not flip flop if I am consistent with the MF.  How long will I have to stay on Endodren?  Who knows?  I predict that the reversal will come suddenly.  I can deal with that as long as I don't keep flipping back and forth.

I've read that 91 percent of people with Autism have the MTHFR homo mutation.  8.5 percent have the homo mutation.  It's very possible that none of this would have happened if I had better genes.  That makes me VERY ANGRY!
